About

Established in August 2011, WDGA is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing disabled individuals with opportunities to participate in golf, both socially and competitively.

In collaboration with our counterparts in England and Scotland, WDGA offers a truly inclusive experience for disabled individuals. We understand the importance of sports for disabled people, not only for its physical benefits but also for the social connections it fosters among individuals who understand the challenges of disabilities.

While golf is inherently inclusive, we recognise that full inclusion is still a work in progress in society. That's why we organise events voluntarily, serving as a stepping stone to bridge the gap towards total inclusion.

At WDGA, we believe that being disabled should never limit one's enjoyment of sports; it simply means adapting activities to personal abilities. Our activities include golf competition days, social events, and ongoing efforts to establish regular training workshops across the principality.

Membership with WDGA is completely free. Join us in celebrating the resilience and strength of disabled individuals on the golf course. Together, let's pave the way for a more inclusive future in sports and beyond. Welcome to WDGA.

The WDGA contains an ‘Accessible Courses In Wales’ section. By clicking the dropdown options at the top of the site, you will be able to select from a list of accessbile courses accross Wales to find out if they meet your accessibility requirements.
